Thunderbolt connectivity has been slow going (other than Apple sticking it into all of their new laptops) and now more than a few blogs are discussing whether 2012 will be the year of Thunderbolt, or the year it fizzles off the radar. Here is Larry Jordan’s take on the future of Thunderbolt with regards to future post production workflow.

Studio Daily has a good write up on the current state of things with some useful links to up and coming products that make use of the super fast Thunderbolt connector. Personally I think its the next big thing in video production….but time only will tell.
