G-tech Thunderbolt G-RAID Review
Adam Garstone from High Definition Magazine reviews the G-tech Thunderbolt G-Raid, which offers ‘blazingly fast’read and write speeds, meaning you can pull multiple streams of HD video through at the same time. The G Raid comes in 4TB, 6TB and 8TB models, but doesn’t include a thunderbolt cable in the box. Read Adam’s full review here.
Free harddrive disk speed test app
In his review Adam used Blackmagic Design’s Disc Speed Test tool to assess what the drive could handle. To get the app for free (via the app store) head here. Its pretty simple to use but for a quick ‘how-to’ head over to this article on Art of the Guillotine.
