Fast Company’s Co.Create has an interesting article (featuring a scene from Hugo) talking to Thelma Schoonmaker on what makes for a great edit. Hugo won a fist of Oscars this year, though not for Best Editing. Schoonmaker also talks about the brilliant Joe Pesci scene from Goodfellas… “Funny how? I amuse you?”
