This years NAB should hopefully showcase a greater number of shipping Thunderbolt devices after a slow start last year. Is the image above a sign of the things to come? If Apple decide not to release a new Mac Pro Tower will the edit suite of the future continue to come in composite parts linked by Thunderbolt? Mobile Red Rocket cards in Sonnet Thunderbolt Chassis and the fairly portable Promise Pegasus Raids are already proving useful in DIT and other on/near set situations.
